AviChina Industry & Technology Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as the AviChina) is a joint stock limited company jointly promoted by AVIC II, China Hua Rong Asset Management Corporation, China Cinda Asset Management Corporation and China Orient Asset Management Corporation and incorporated on 30 April 2003 in Beijing, the Peoples Republic of China. The business of the Company primarily comprises of two segments: R&D and manufacture of civil aviation and automobile products, including helicopters, regional jets, trainers, general-purpose aircraft, aircraft components and parts, avionic products and automobiles, vehicle engines and automobile parts and components.
AviChina is a leading mini-sized vehicle manufacturer, the largest helicopter manufacturer and the major aircraft manufacturer in the PRC. The manufactured helicopter series are the Z-8 series, Z-9 series, Z-11 series, and HC-120; regional jet mainly includes ERJ-145; trainer and general-purpose aircraft with a comprehensive and wide-range of products, including the K-8 and PT-6 trainers, Y-12 series multi-purpose transport aircraft and the N-5 agricultural aircraft.
